Psychiatric Nursing Care Plans

Psychiatric nursing is a specialization of nursing practice implementing on human behavior as a science and, further, psychosomatic therapeutically as its effort. This is an interpersonal process in establishing serious effort to develop and maintain the contributing behavioral of integrated function. Therefore, a psychiatric nurse employs the knowledge of psychosocial, biophysical, personality theories and human behavioral as well in purpose to formulate certain theoretical framework as bedrock of psychiatric nursing practice in future.

Recently, the practice of psychiatric nursing has developed in complex ways, starting from the elements of its genuine historical emerged in social and environment context. In addition, a psychiatric nurse should be conscious that the development of psychiatric Nursing currently comprises of clinical competency, client legal advocacy, fiscal liability, professional collaboration, social accountability and as well ethic and legal responsibility. These entire realms become an obligation for psychiatric nurse to have guidance in conducting nursing practice, which is a basic standard in psychiatric nursing practice that explains competency level of a professional nursing educational and general professional performance for nurse that is implemented on the management of psychiatric nursing practice.
